“ I order a Asada Burritos, Pastor Tacos, Tortas it was so good. Service was excellent fast and bomb ass food. ”
“ Great service, great food! We'll definitely be back. We're new to the area, originally from South Texas, (by the border) RGV where food and restaurants like this are very common. This place definitely has it. Everything we tried was great, well made, and generously portioned. They nailed the salsas too! Wife and kids approved. Glad we found this place. ”
“ This was a really great place to eat. The tacos were delicious, we tried different flavors and we were impressed. We also ordered a chicken quesadilla which was full of flavor. The horchata was also great. The place does accept credit cards, I only mention this because I saw on here that they didn't, we paid cash to avoid the surcharge. The service was great, this is a place we would definitely go back to. I want to point out that my review is based on the food and experience, not the location of the restaurant. ”
“ This is truly a hole in the wall place but they have the best street tacos around. If you want authentic street tacos, this is your place. We love the carnitas. Yum... Food: 5/5 Facility: 5/1 Service: 5/5 Ambiance: 5/1 Value: 5/5 ”
“ My fav of all the Northeast taco places. Pablo and his wife have added a wonderful red salsa. They serve a Birria plate now, and some sort of fish plate. "Fritas" or something. Had 3 tacos asada (my usual). Love that Birria sauce! BIG improvement that takes him up a level. A inexpensive joint. Tacos were $1.90 now. He always adds whatever extra I want free of charge. Sour cream, cheese, tomato, lettuce. I always get a grilled jalapeno (they always have a bunch ready made). Gets sweet, but still fire hot! This is like a typical taqueria in Mexico. Will visit again, and again! I hardly ever give 5 star. Bang for a buck, tis is my favorite. That meal was $7.50 w/drink. 3 tacos. ALSO.... Pablo has rice and beans. If I ask, he gives them to me for free, and he will just load it on boy! ”
“ It's always great to find a kitchen open late during the week and Los Altos de Jalisco serves until 11pm M-Th and after Midnight on Fr & Sat. A co-worker and I stopped in about 10pm after work last Thursday and the place was hopping with dine in and carryout customers. I ordered an al pastor quesadilla and an asada taco and my buddy ordered the asada quesadilla and 2 tacos. We traded a quarter slice of the quesadillas and I honestly can't say which I liked best - both were fantastic. They were filled with meat and cheese and large enough that I was forced to take my taco to go since I was stuffed - just like my tortilla. Lettuce, tomato and sour cream are provided as is a plate of grilled onions and jalapeno's and sliced cucumbers and limes. A perfectly messy Mexican masterpiece. My large melon aqua fresca was a nice sweet accompaniment. My buddy and I are already planning a return visit soon. ”
“ Visited here for some real taco Tuesday and I wasn't disappointed! At 6pm on a Tuesday, The place was reasonably steady but not busy or hurried. My server was excellent and explained things very well to me because it was my first time. I ordered three Asada tacos and one tripe. They come with a plate of tasty grilled onions, some cucumbers, limes, and a jalapeño. The price tonight for for tacos and a watermelon Agua Fresca was only $8. They now take card and Apple Pay in addition to cash, and you pay at the register on your way out. Come here for some real, authentic tacos at an excellent price! Ill definitely be back! ”
“ The chorizo tacos are where it's at!! The asada and pastor are good. A guy walked in without a mask and the man behind the counter immediately called him on it with no rudeness, and the man left and came back with one. Gotta love that they enforce the mask policy! My partner loved his asada burrito. We'll be back to try more! ”
“ I went back tonight and wow...this place wins! They are remodeling! They are fixing up the dining area (end of May 2018) and it's looking very nice. The place was packed again and the cook/owner? was busting his butt to get the orders out. It was impressive to watch. I got my tacos to go and had a near religious experience in my car. They gave me a packet of grilled onions/jalapeno, 2 sauces , a ton of radish and cucumber slices, limes and my tacos. Every sense was on fire. Everything tastes so good and full of flavor. I super dig this place. Go!! ”
